When DMARCER is connected to HALO PSA, your customers, assets, alerts and licence counts are kept in sync, so your PSA always reflects the latest domain-security status without any manual work.

Step 1: Create API credentials in HALO

  1. In HALO, go to Configuration, then Integrations, then HaloPSA API.
  2. Click View Applications, then + New.
  3. Create a new application using the Client Credentials grant type, with the 'all' scope.
    1. Application Name: DMARCER
    2. Active: Ticked
    3. Authentication Method: Client ID and Secret (Services)
    4. Branding: Use Default Branding
    5. Allow Agent Logins: Ticked
    6. Allow End-User Logins: Unticked
    7. Default Language: Use the Global Default Language
    8. SELECT AGENT DETAILS - CREATE NEW AGENT WITH MINIMAL POSITION
    9. CREATE API AGENT RECORD
  4. On the Permissions Tab, apply the following permissions:
    1. edit: tickets
    2. read: tickets
    3. read: customers
    4. read: assets
    5. edit: assets
    6. read: contracts
    7. edit: contracts
  5. Click Save, and make a note of the Client ID and Secret provided.
  6. CONFIRM AGENT PERMISSIONS

Step 2: Add the integration in DMARCER

  1. Open Integrations and click Add.
  2. Choose PSA, then HALO PSA.
  3. Enter your HALO URL (for example https://yourcompany.halopsa.com) along with the Client ID and Client Secret you copied earlier. You only need to fill in Tenant if HALO is installed on-premise.
  4. Give the connection a friendly name and click Connect.

DMARCER keeps your credentials safely encrypted and tests the connection straight away. When you see a green Connected badge, you are all set.

Step 3: Link your customers

Link each DMARCER customer to its matching HALO client, then choose what you would like to keep in sync: assets, alerts and licence usage.
