Domain Transfers
Dmarcer supports the transfer of domains between MSPs. This allows domain management and historical monitoring data to move with a customer if they change service provider.
Before You Start
To transfer domains, you will need the Tenant ID of the receiving MSP.
You can find your own Tenant ID by going to Profile Menu > Transfers. Your Tenant ID is displayed in the top-right corner of the page.
Transferring Domains
- Go to Profile Menu > Transfers.
- Choose whether you want to transfer:
- A single domain, or
- An entire customer account.
- Enter the Tenant ID of the receiving MSP.
- Dmarcer will display the receiving partner's name so you can confirm the transfer is being sent to the correct organisation.
- Click Send Invitation.
What Happens Next?
An invitation email will be sent to the receiving MSP.
The receiving MSP must accept the transfer within 14 days. Once accepted, ownership of the selected domains and their historical monitoring data will be transferred to their Dmarcer tenant.
Important Notes
- Only validated domains can be transferreed.
- Domains remain within your license allocation until the receiving MSP accepts the trasnfer request.
- If the invitation is not accepted within 14 days, the transfer request will expire and will need to be submitted again.
