Adding a domain lets DMARCER keep an eye on your email security, give it a score and start collecting DMARC reports for you. It only takes about five minutes, and you will need access to wherever your domain's DNS records are managed.

Step 1: Start the Add domain wizard

From My Domains, click Add domain and enter your domain name (for example yourcompany.com, with no www or https). If your plan offers more than one licence type, pick Standard (a domain you send email from) or Parked (one you do not send from but still want to protect).

Step 2: Add the two DNS records

DMARCER will show you two DNS records to add: an ownership TXT record (this simply proves the domain is yours) and a DMARC record (this gets report collection started). Use the Copy button next to each one, then add them as TXT records with your DNS provider.

Step 3: Verify

Once you have added both records, click I have added them. DMARCER will check your DNS and confirm that the domain is yours. When it all checks out, your domain appears in My Domains and scanning begins.

What happens next

DMARCER scores your domain across the six checks and starts gathering DMARC reports. Open the domain detail page at any time to see your score and the suggested next steps.
